Dubia cockroaches have a long life span, are very nutritious and one of the most protein-rich insects (as food animals). Proteins in particular are more important for reptiles.
They are highly nutritious and healthy. They are the best of nutrition for your pet because they have higher protein and calcium and less fat content than other food animals. They are easy to digest, not stressful to the intestines and are good for their diet. Cockroaches also live longer than other food insects.
They do not make a sound like, say, a cricket that can go on all night. Also, cockroaches do not climb or fly. Although male cockroaches, which unlike females have large wings, can briefly flutter a bit, they cannot reach a height to escape from a container with smooth sides. They pose no threat to the environment and will not simply continue to breed in the household or infest your household. This is unlike several other species of cockroaches.

Simply store in a sealed plastic container with ventilation mesh. Place the container in a not too warm environment, but optimally in a room with temperature between 15 and 20 degrees. If the environment becomes too warm, they will move more in the bin. Feed them one fresh piece of fruit or vegetable per week, but not too much as they do not need much nutrition after their breeding.
